As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Define Trade and Shopper Strategy to translate insights into Execution in delivering Brand / Category growth drivers
  • Lead the presentation of monthly Category cycle objectives and channel updates to sales team, working closely with sales team, briefing documents and clear 3D cycle priorities understood and executed
  • Support channel reviews, SCM(Supply Chain Management) reviews and in-store excellence reviews by providing necessary category specific information to build Trade and shopper related Annual Plan and Business Review topics
  • Lead and own assigned Category Masterplan, linking Above-the-line & Below-the-line activities with clear sync periods and priorities to drive focus in execution
  • Contributes to below the line budget setting process and tracks the brand specific Trade marketing Costs (total Gross to Net: Cost Price, Treasury Management) to ensure they remain within budget
  • Responsible for pre and post ROI(return on investment) calculation of brand specific trade activity and capturing learnings of what works/doesn’t work to impact future activity
  • Identify and understand brand specific operational gaps, provide key findings and proposed solutions to business issues for further alignment with management team
  • Define Must Stock List (MSL) by channel and align with management team
  • Ensures all promotional material complies with the company policies and have been approved in line with SOPs
  • Own category promotional strategy and ensure compliance. Set standards based on ROI(return on investment) learnings and support business case for any new mechanics using pre and post evaluation
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers in developing customer contract to accelerate growth of key & potential customers
  • Lead development of Category Strategy based on the synthesis of Category I/Os, Global / Regional Plans, Marketing Objectives aligned with Customer Priorities
  • Develop Category Point of Purchase Drivers Plan (Product, Placement, Price, Promotion, Point of Sale) for execution which supports Category Strategy
  • Develop Trade Presentation for New Product Listings
  • Support Trade Marketing Head in the execution of Customer Value Management, Cycle Plan and Cycle Meetings to drive execution
  • Oversee implementation and be process expert of Key Trade Marketing Initiatives  (Trax and Toolkit) to support execution excellence
  • Create consolidated action plan within the cross – functional teams based on monthly Trax measures
  • Lead the localization and roll-out of region prescribed Sales Toolkit
Qualifications:
  • 8 years sales experience with minimum 6 years’ experience in Trade Marketing
  • Prior working experience in MNC or Local Firm for FMCG/OTC Healthcare industry
  • In-depth knowledge of modern trade and multi-channel experience preferred
  • Strong Financial Analysis skills required
  • Can turn Analysis into compelling commercial strategies
  • Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a “hands on” style
