Nursing Education
/ Local Licensure
Access
to quality nursing education is the foundation of
a stable and long term supply of nurses to meet global
demand. The Systems Technology Institute (STI)
is one of the key partners of GROW in building such
a foundation to produce highly qualified and skilled
professionals in diverse fields of expertise.
STI’s recent entry into nursing education reflects its commitment to promote quality nursing in the Philippines as well as to meet international nursing standards.
The underlying principle in courseware development for the BSN program is the assurance of competencies to practice the profession of nursing as defined locally by the Philippine Board of Nursing (PBON).
Courseware review and design are constantly undertaken in order to allow nursing graduates a higher than probable chance of becoming certified by credentialing organizations such as the International Commission for Health Professionals (ICHP).
