Oracle Database Administrators for one of the leading life and non life insurance companies in the Philippines
The Oracle Database Administrator is responsible for supporting and assisting the IT Database Administration Department in administering, maintaining and supporting all activities related to the company’s relational database management systems and infrastructure
  • Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of all Oracle Database of the company;
  • Ensures data recovery, test and evaluation of Oracle and other RDBMS related software;
  • Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures in ensuring the security of Oracle database;
  • Implement data models, database design, data access, maintenance codes;
  • Resolves Oracle database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.;
Minimum Qualifications: 
  •  Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any related courses
  • Must have at least 3 years of solid expeirence as an Oracle Database Administrator preferably in the Insurance, BPO, IT or Shared Services industries
  • Proficient in Oracle RDBMS and Unix/Linux/NT Administration 
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Work location: Makati City
  • Work schedule: Dayshift
  • Can start ASAP
