As a National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Plan, organize, direct, control and lead the sales activities according to corporate policies and strategies, with the objective of achieving marketing and sales objectives and ensuring market share gain.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1.Team Management
Lead and manage assigned sales force

Control and approve monthly expenses (operational expenses, allowances, tactical fund spending, etc.)

Foster Professional development of each member of the team according to the policy of the company.

2.Training

Ensure adequate resources to train effectively in sale management.

Identify and recommend training needs of sales staff (ie. QOVI).

Ensure sales force efficiency and productivity

3.Strategy

Collaborate with other departments on the development of the company’s sales strategy and implementation of corporate systems.
Oversee target-setting of assigned districts, zones, and territories; review district performance and identify growth areas; ensure optimum coverage of customer base.
Ensure that the company’s sales strategy is attuned to current market dynamics by proper gathering and analysis of competitive intelligence data and gain market share

4.Sales Activities

Ensure that the company’s sales objectives are met within agreed expenditures.
Review results of tactical activities, oversee attainment of sales target in order to ensure smooth and flawless implementation of sales strategy and achieve sale objectives.
Initiate, coordinate and consolidate tactical spending budgets and reports on sales activities, in order to keep control of the business and provide information to management.
Maintain and develop business relationship with key customers in order to benefit from their support and enhance corporate image.
Coordination with Marketing Department in order to execute well and implement all the product medical campaigns
Ensure achievement of team SFPIs (call load, call adherence, sales hit rate..) and AKPIs (zone planning and activity implementation)
Ensure hospital penetration and correct commercial policy of customer accounts and key hospital accounts

5.Coordination with External Agencies

Conduct periodic business reviews medical third party agency promotions team (Pharmalink)

Ensure implementation of marketing and tactical activities through external field force.

QUALIFICATIONS
Educational background:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or preferably Post-graduate Degree
Years of experience and in what field:
  • Minimum of 6 years in Sales Management
  • Pharmaceutical & OTC experience
  • With experience in people management, at least 5 years
  • Special skills and credentials required to do the job:
  • Skill in leading peers
  • Strong analytical skills tempered by depth of experience
  • Proficient in Windows application
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good people management skills
