We are hiring for Chefs for one of the leading hotel and leisure parks in Kawit, Cavite.
The Chef will be part of the Hot & Cold Kitchen and will be overseeing a team of line cooks, kitchen staff and junior sous chefs.
- Will be in charge of the overall kitchen production supervision
- Will be responsible for staff supervision, training and development
- Responsible in monitoring the kitchen budget, expenses and food cost control
- Maintain food quality and presentation
- Ensure Food safety
- Provide various Kitchen reports
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation
- Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree, or Course in Culinary, Hospitality, Hotel & Restaurant Management, and any related courses
- Must have at least 3 years of solid experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industries as a Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, Executive Chef or Junior Sous Chef
- Proficient in costing, inventory, production, scheduling, and purchasing.
- Must be able to manage commissary operations, banquet and catering requirements, and restaurant kitchen operations
- Adept in forecasting, planning and strategizing and keen on cost control
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedure
- Strong knowledge in healthy and safety standards
- Work location: Kawit, Cavite
